  • Quick Cooking = Healthier Living

No one can argue that cooking at home is healthier and cheaper than eating out. Nevertheless, we need more time, or sometimes energy, to cook big healthy meals every night. That's why, today, I'm going to try a new recipe that will take less than 20 minutes to prepare, saving my time and money, all while building healthy habits for the year ahead. That's the sesame chicken. Finger-lickin' sesame chicken is sticky, sweet, savoury, and easy to make. Forget about take-out because this healthier version is better than any restaurant sesame chicken and comes together in 20 minutes. This sesame chicken is one of those meals that I can whip up in just about 20 minutes in one pan and is easy to clean up. The chicken is cut into small bite-size pieces, so it cooks fast, and the yummy sesame sauce comes together in under a minute. All that's left to do is to coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch and stir fry for 5-6 minutes or until browned. Add the sesame soy, simmer for just a few minutes until the sauce is thick and sticky, and that's it! Serve on white rice or noodles, and enjoy this lightened-up healthy version of sesame chicken any day of the week ( ingredients of shopping lists: https://cafemedia.list-integration.whisk.com) Ok! Now, while I eat my food with my family, I take some answering questions. What is my favourite cuisine or type of food? My favourite cuisine is Chinese, and my favourite food group is fruit and vegetables. They contain essential vitamins, minerals, fibre and plant chemicals. There are wide varieties available and many ways to prepare, cook and serve them. A diet high in them can help me protect against cancer, diabetes and heart disease. For example, as long as I eat five kinds of vegetables and two kinds of fruit daily for good health, which is enough to keep my nutrients. But most of the time have ever I do not eat enough of them. Hence, buying and preparing fruits and vegetables is necessary, aiming for variety to get the most appeal apparently. Best wishes, Fanyu 13/ 02/ 2023

  • Who Am I, Really?

Being self-aware should be everyone's goal. As Socrates said, "An unexamined life is not worth living." That's such a bit extreme, of course, but knowing my strengths and weaknesses is vital in my journey to living my best life. No doubt, one way to gain perspective on who I am is to get the description of my zodiac sign. Even if I don't believe in astrology seemingly, this is always an exciting way to realise myself! Now, I'm going to tell you about me without further ado. I'm a Virgo. Although many people are Virgo, they are different and unique in person. But I can find some coincidences as well as who we are. First, we are practical. I like well-organised stuff as an aim of my daily goal and have some practicality in my everyday life, such as writing my task lists before daily work. Even when it lets go of chaos, my goals still have strictly defined borders in my mind. Furthermore, I just can't get used to thinking about the core of any problem without analytical work. When I focus as long as I decide to do, perfection is expected from my work. More or less, no other sign has such an eye for details as Virgo. For example, while I need to paint and design my artwork expression, I absolutely want to make good work. Nevertheless, I've been some traits, such as being shy and overly critical of myself, which are my weaknesses. Actually, I lack the ability to express myself and my little self-confidence because it's based on my fear. I won't accept my feelings as valid or even relevant as opposed to reason before I usually criticise myself. It's a vulnerable point as far as it goes. If I may be able to overcome fear, it's the quickest way to gain self-confidence, after all. I'm proud of being overcome by my shy personality because I fear unknown things. What have I to do with fear? Chance rules my life, and the future is all unknown. Best live as I may from day to day. So it's vital and essential to write self-affirmation every morning. In other words, I write some positive affirmations for myself every morning I've ever done. Consequently, I gradually feel self-confident on track. If my mind can conceive this pattern, my heart can believe in myself and conquer my fear. Finally, I want to say it's helpful to follow how to plan my career if I realise what the perspective sign is as a Virgo. Probably I need to learn to indulge in hedonism. Recently, never have I ever seen irrational spending as a bad habit or a matter of being spoiled. But I'll be able to hold on to practical solutions that don't cost money too much. Unfortunately, my approach can sometimes make it cheaper and too concerned about everything I might lack tomorrow. Best wishes, Fanyu🤞 10/ 02/ 2023

  • A Letter from the Future In 2023

Dear Me, Wow. I'll have the best year yet. I really did amazing in 2022! Luckily, 2023 was the best year I've ever had. I hope so. Now, I'm gonna tell you all about my three goals that will be my accomplishments in 2023. First, one of my most extraordinary accomplishments was in my new work since I returned from the Uk in 2022- a photographer! I can't believe how far I've come as a designer—from my first business projects, making a menu of coffee, a business logo, a Facebook banner and a business card. To design whole projects for my work, I'm really proud of the encouragement you've created. Furthermore, moving on to another accomplishment- I was finally in a genuine relationship with Poya last summer. We were matched by the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel, and we've fallen in love even though we're different. During the Covid-19 outbreak, we got to keep in touch more or less. Like the general couple, watching drama and films, visiting the modern exhibition was remarkable in Pingtung city and Art Taipei. Of course, trying all the yummy food was so enjoyable. Plus, sharing daily life with her son Chenxu is a positive affirmation, and we're on track. Finally, last year but certainly not least, as far as the IELTS test goes, I've gradually recovered from preparing for it after this lunar new year. Starting basically from memorizing vocabulary and idioms. Obviously, setting out to aim to return to the UK was a struggle, but I planned to follow a studying schedule next week. It's dedicated myself to being better after getting depression. No doubt, look at me now. I'm studying in a Louisa coffee shop. And I got everything I've been in succeeding. I do love you! Best wishes, Me 09/ 02/ 2023
